為方便視障人士過馬路，運輸署自2025年4月起陸續更換全港電子行人過路發聲裝置。新裝置以人為本，視障人士夜間過馬路時，可使用專用無線裝置，靈活地短暫提高正以「夜間減音模式」運作的發聲裝置音量，協助他們安全過馬路，同時減低對附近居民的滋擾。
